The Centre has a strong human rights and social justice focus.
We are seeking a Coordinator to manage the planning, development and implementation of Centre projects, activities, services and campaigns, and to ensure smooth day to day operations. The position offers the opportunity to work with a committed, multi disciplinary team on a diverse range of social justice and legal issues.
Wage range SCHADS Award Level 8 depending on skills and experience. We offer fringe benefit packaging, with options to salary sacrifice.

Management Committee Member
The Illawarra Legal Centre is run by a volunteer management committee. If you are interested in being part of the management committee please contact Truda Gray the Centre Coordinator on 4279 1939.
Once a week, volunteer solicitors staff an evening advice session. At present solicitors are rostered on approximately 3 to 4 times a year. If you are interested in being part of the volunteer team, please contact the Principal Solicitor Phillip Dicalfas on 4276 1939.
Expression of Interest
From time to time we have other volunteers undertaking projects or activities.
The work given to volunteers will offer the volunteer personal satisfaction, potential development of skills, active promotion of a cause and/or recognition of volunteer effort.

Volunteers will not replace paid staff members and the Centre acknowledges its obligation to seek funding to pay for work which is normally undertaken by paid staff.
