Warrawong NAIDOC Family Fun Day – Stallholder EOI
The Warrawong NAIDOC organising committee would like to invite you to be a part of the Warrawong NAIDOC Family Fun Day (Formerly Greene St NAIDOC), a free community NAIDOC event.
Date: Tuesday 8th July 2025
Time: 10am-1pm
Location: Darcy Wentworth Park – Carlotta Cres Warrawong
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This event will provide information stalls, craft workshops, children’s activities, entertainment, games, food and more for the people of the Illawarra.
Promotional material and advertising for the event will include:
• Information on NAIDOC website and Calendar
• Radio Advertising
• Social Media, including partnering organisations Facebook page
• Posters & flyers distributed to child friendly locations around the Illawarra
Stallholder Information
Plastic Free Event: No plastics or balloons are to be used as promotional material or food packaging.
Activity: You will need to provide an engaging activity for the community.
Equipment needed: Stallholders will need to provide their own tables and chairs. All stalls are located on the grass and there are no powered sites. As this is an outdoor event , we recommend you bring a gazebo to provide shade on the day, all gazebo’s must be appropriately anchored (i.e. weights, pegged etc.).
Stall Set-Up: is between 8am – 9am on the day of the event.
Parking: will be available inside the gates of Noel Mulligan Oval, enter through Carlotta Cres.
Children’s Passports: on the day you will be required to stamp children’s passport sheets after they have visited your stall for information (please bring your own stamp if possible). Children can then return these passports to the Registration Desk/stall, next to the stage, to go in the draw to win a prize.
Donations: if you could (or would like to) donate something for the ‘children’s passport’ prizes, we would be very grateful. these donations can be handed to any committee member on the day.
Committee Members: Any questions on the day for the organisers you can locate them by their shirts, “Committee” will be written across the back.
Stall Pack-Up: is from 1pm, not earlier.
Stallholder Briefing: A stallholder safety briefing will be held via teams on the 7/7/25 at 3.30pm. At this time you will also be advised of your stall location and any wet weather arrangements.
